Contract Performance Period : July 1, 2024 - December 31, 2024
Job Location : Washington, DC - Remote and periodically On-site (6 days per month) at locations in Washington, DC (unless otherwise directed).
Direct Hire : Hourly- Contractual through 12/31/2024, with possibility for extension
Pay Range : Depending on Experience
Travel Requirements : On-site/Remote at Washington, DC locations (unless directed otherwise), with a minimum of 6 days per month for On-Site support.

Project Description :
Seeking Junior Level Information Systems Specialist consultant to support client's data governance plans including Collibra platform implementation and sustainment. Performance Location(s): Washington, DC Hybrid position with On-Site support for a minimum of 6 days per month, unless otherwise directed. Performance Period: July 1, 2024, through December 31, 2024, with possibility for extension.

Qualification Requirements :
The Contractor shall have demonstrated experience in the following: 1. Basic knowledge of Collibra core products/tools – Data Steward certification preferred. - Experience in developing Data Catalog, Data Dictionary, Data Lineage and Business Glossary use cases. - Experience in creating and managing training plans and other resources to support key data roles. - Experience in identifying and implementing requirements and use cases for the Collibra solution to support the data governance strategy and roadmap. - Experience supporting data owners and business users through data stewardship communities of practices to develop business processes and data models. 2. 1+ years of experience in enterprise technology, enterprise data strategy, enterprise data architecture and data management framework. Specific work experience including but not limited to architecture design and integration, systems lifecycle management, infrastructure planning and operations. 3. 1+ years of leadership experience in data governance and master data management concepts and solutions (e.g., metadata, lineage, data quality, etc.) 4. U.S. citizenship is a requirement.

1. Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills. - Client facing and consulting experience and skills, especially supporting senior leaderships in decision making at the enterprise level. - Ability to elaborate value of data governance to both business and technical stakeholders. 2. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills. 3. Experience in the development of key data policies and guidelines (e.g., Data Quality, Data Definition, Data Ingestion/Creation). 4. Experience with federal requirements for information security, privacy, and risk assessment standards such as FISMA, SOX, FedRAMP, etc. 5. Experience in agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks, such as Scrum, Kanban to deliver solutions. 6. Experience in change management (e.g., Ability to represent key sponsor/stakeholder priorities effectively).

Responsibilities :
The Contractor shall deliver, but not limited to, the following: 1. Support Information Exchange Agreements (IEAs) process. 2. Refine data and analytics strategy and begin to socialize it to the business. 3. Complete Collibra training videos and Quick Reference Guide (QRG). 4. Review Collibra implementation plans to meet the given timeline or recommend adjustments as needed. 5. Support technical lead in the functional (analysis, design etc.) and technical implementation of Collibra. 6. Support Collibra implementation plans and help identify the priority for onboarding data. 7. Help design our Collibra community to easily share and reuse common metadata between System and client communities. 8. Translate the business capabilities into data management capabilities that we will target in future development plans for the product and as new roles for the team. - Translate business data pain points into relevant use cases. - Develop and design presentations, reports, and other deliverables. - Develop and maintain a project plan to track progress and ensure timely delivery and review. 9. Conduct a weekly status meeting with key stakeholders. 10. Present at monthly executive briefing. 11. Provide a weekly status report of project tasks to manager.
