Senior Information Systems Specialist

Contract Performance Period : May 6, 2024 - December 31, 2024
Job Location : Washington, DC (A minimum of 1 day per week Onsite support required, unless otherwise directed.) Must be able to work set schedule Monday through Friday.
Direct Hire : Hourly- Contractual through 31/12/2024. Candidate expected to be available for period up to 12 months, with the possibility of an additional 12-month extension.
Pay Range : Depending on Experience

Project Description :
Seeking Senior Information Systems Specialist with the following skills: VMWare Workspace One UEM, AirWatch, and Microsoft InTune (for device management). The contractor will serve as a Mobility Endpoint Support Engineer with strong experience to serve as part of a Tier 2/3 organization. The analyst who fills this position will be required to work a set schedule Monday-Friday, with hybrid work arrangements, a minimum of one day per week, unless otherwise directed. The Client will only consider candidates who can work those designated hours. Period of Performance: 12 months through 2024 with a possibility for extension an additional 12 months. Place of Performance: Hybrid work, Onsite at Washington DC and Telework.

Qualification Requirements :
This contractor position will be in support of the End Point Computing Services team. The candidate should demonstrate strong technical knowledge and experience with cloud-based and on-prem Endpoint Management platforms, Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) tools, Microsoft Intune, VMware WorkspaceOne UEM. Ability to engage with business and IT stakeholders, across multiple Platform to solve complex technology challenges. *** US Citizenship Required *** *** BS/BA in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field HIGHLY DESIRABLE *** A+, MCDST, MTA, MOS, or similar certification is PREFERABLE

Skills Requirements :
The contractor is required have: 1. Strong Level 1 network and VPN diagnosis and troubleshooting skills. 2. At least 3 years’ experience with: deploying, configuring, and supporting iOS devices in a client/server environment; and administration and management of mobile devices (MDM) and mobile applications (MAM) through on-prem and/or cloud/SaaS infrastructure. 3. At least 5 years’ experience with scripting in PowerShell, Python, C++, Java-script, SQL, HTML 4 or Swift. 4. At least 7 years of overall IT experience, including a minimum of 5 years of experience providing general desktop support with previous experience opening and maintaining support cases via BMC Remedy, ServiceNow or similar. 5. At least 5 years’ experience in supporting business enablement applications, such as Microsoft O365 product stack. 6. At least 5 years’ experience in with Mobile application development, mobile device management solutions such as Airwatch, Mobile Iron, Intune is a plus. 7. Experience with engineering PKI concepts and certificate integrations; hands on experience integrating SKD’s into mobile apps. 8. Excellent written and oral communications are required, as this position will interface with clients via phone and e-mail and in person. Demonstrated ability to concisely summarize and document client issues is required, including experience with creating and updating technical documentation. 9. 2 years minimum experience planning and executing activities using Microsoft Project, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and Power BI. 10. Experience with managing headless Linux servers/navigating through Terminal. 12. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills. 13. Strong interpersonal and communication skills who can work with people at various levels of the organization.

Responsibilities :
This position may require occasional travel, weekend, and/or overtime work. Provide Senior Mobility Endpoint Support Engineer experience to serve as part of a Tier 2/3 organization. Provide support to the service team demonstrating strong technical knowledge and experience with cloud-based and on-prem Enterprise (EMM) tools, Microsoft Intune, VMware WorkspaceOne UEM. Have the ability to engage with business and IT stakeholders, across multiple Platform to solve complex challenges.
