Project Description :
Seeking Intermediate SME to provide dedicated Scrum Master services to facilitate the CRAFT team in adopting Agile best practices, removing blockers, and ensuring the successful delivery of an exam workflow tool. The SME will capture requirements and assist the team with updating user stories for an examiner workflow tool. The Scrum Master will serve as servant leader for the team focusing on facilitation, backlog hygiene, impediment removal, and coaching. Period of Performance: 03/03/2026 or as soon as possible, through December 31, 2026, with the possibility for renewal in 2027. Place of Performance: On site 5 days per week at client office in Washington, DC

Qualification Requirements :
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Computing Information Systems, Computer Science, or relevant technical discipline. • Minimum 10 years of experience leading projects or key business initiatives. • 2 years of IT portfolio and customer relationship management experience. • At least one of the following or its equivalent: • PMP Certification, PMI-ACP, or Scaled Agile Framework or CSM (Certified Scrum Master). **U.S. citizenship is a requirement.

Skills Requirements :
• Engaging and coaching product teams to help them recognize the effectiveness of self-organization and continuous improvement. • Work closely with Product Owners to properly scope and plan current and future work. • Knowledge of approaches discussed in the Agile space: Scrum, Kanban and SAFe. • Knowledge and/or experience with Agile techniques, including User Stories, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games. • Experience executing as a scrum master in an agile transformation.

Responsibilities :
The examiner workflow tool will replace and enhance a legacy system while leveraging AWS cloud services. To support the development, implementation, continuous improvement of the tool; a Scrum Master is required to work with the product owner team, development team, and management to ensure the team embraces an Agile mindset throughout the product life cycle. Provide experience executing as a scrum master in an agile transformation.
