Project Description :
We are seeking a Senior Cyber Artificial Intelligence Operations Engineer with experience implementing AI solutions for cybersecurity purposes at a large, highly regulated federal financial institution. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a variety of AI technologies and models, with exceptional knowledge of the architecture and design requirements to implement AI solutions that support cybersecurity operations.
This position requires the successful candidate to work as part of a fusion team that includes cybersecurity practitioners to develop and deliver AI-enabled cybersecurity tools and capabilities spanning intrusion detection, intrusion prevention, incident response, vulnerability analysis, threat hunting, and security test and evaluation activities.
US Citizenship is required for this position.
Qualification Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 5+ years of experience in AI, data science, or software engineering with knowledge of data structures supporting AI and cybersecurity practices
- 2+ years of experience in a security, information security, or cybersecurity field involving the defense of technical systems
- Proficiency with AI infrastructure components, automation tools, and scripting languages (Python, Bash)
- Familiarity with one or more AI frameworks and tools such as AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, Transformer, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and LangChain/LlamaIndex
- Familiarity with open-source LLM models such as Llama and Mistral
- Experience in fine-tuning LLM models
- Knowledge of AI design patterns
- Hands-on experience with DevSecOps and CI/CD practices (preferred)
- Experience in AWS cloud architecture design and operation (preferred)
- Experience with Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and/or GitLab (preferred)
- Experience operating in government environments following NIST, FISMA, FedRAMP, and OMB guidance (preferred)
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and documentation skills (preferred)

Responsibilities :
- Participate in the delivery of cyber-AI solutions as part of an integrated fusion team including AI engineers, AI operators, and cybersecurity subject matter experts
- Design, implement, deploy, maintain, and evolve AI-enhanced cybersecurity solutions supporting intrusion detection, intrusion prevention, incident response, insider risk, vulnerability analysis, threat hunting, cyber threat intelligence, and security test and evaluation activities
- Instrument AI systems for cybersecurity activities with observability and controllability
- Monitor the performance of AI systems designed for cybersecurity purposes and ensure their effectiveness
- Analyze, fine-tune, and optimize AI systems designed to support cybersecurity mission needs
- Develop analytic products and reports demonstrating the effectiveness of AI-enabled cybersecurity capabilities, including metrics and technical reports
