Project Description :
This role supports the stability, performance, and security of enterprise and data center network infrastructure. The position is responsible for managing Cisco-based networking environments including Cisco Catalyst and Nexus platforms, wireless networks, ISE, and IPS, while ensuring high availability, security compliance, and continuous operations. Period of Performance: Until December 31, 2026, with possibility of extension. Place of Performance: On-site at Washington, DC campus locations of client.
Qualification Requirements :
Minimum of 10 years of experience supporting enterprise grade routers and switches in large data center environments. Expert-level knowledge of BGP and OSPF, including traffic engineering, route optimization, and failover design. Strong expertise in TCP/IP troubleshooting and packet analysis. Hands-on experience configuring and supporting: BGP, OSPF, and STP on Cisco NX-OS and IOS-XE platforms Cisco Nexus (9K, 7K) and Catalyst switches and routers Proven experience designing, planning, testing, implementing, and troubleshooting large-scale data center networks. Experience with network management and monitoring tools, such as SolarWinds and Cisco Catalyst Center. Experience with cloud networking and hybrid network architectures. ** U.S. citizenship is a requirement.

Demonstrated ability to plan and execute network upgrades in collaboration with internal teams. Ability to participate in cloud migration and hybrid network initiatives.
