Project Description :
We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to develop and maintain Python-based microservices and AWS infrastructure within a large, complex organization. This role requires end-to-end ownership of cloud-native application development — from architecture decisions and infrastructure provisioning through deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working in an Agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, and translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Qualification Requirements :
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 7+ years of software development experience with SDLC and Agile methodologies
  • Production-grade Python development with modern frameworks and testing libraries
  • Hands-on experience with AWS CDK for infrastructure-as-code across multi-environment deployments
  • Hands-on CI/CD pipeline creation and management for cloud applications
  • Strong RESTful API design skills including versioning and error handling
  • Proficiency with Git workflows, branching strategies, and merge request reviews
  • Experience with Terraform preferred
  • Familiarity with Angular or React (TypeScript) frontend development a plus
  • Experience using AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude Code) for code review, documentation generation, debugging, and test case development preferred


Skills Requirements :
  • Primary (daily use expected):
  • Python 3.9+, AWS Lambda, and AWS Step Functions for complex workflow modeling
  • Infrastructure as Code: AWS CDK and Terraform
  • DynamoDB, S3, API Gateway, CloudWatch, CloudTrail
  • Containerized application development with Docker
  • Source control with Git / GitLab
  • Secondary (nice to have):
  • Frontend development: Angular or React (TypeScript)
  • AWS services: SNS/SQS, Athena, Glue, Load Balancers
  • AI-assisted development tools for code review, optimization, documentation, and test case generation


Responsibilities :
  • Develop and maintain Python-based microservices and AWS infrastructure using CDK
  • Model complex business workflows using AWS Step Functions
  • Build containerized applications with RESTful APIs following modern design standards
  • Implement comprehensive logging, monitoring, and audit trails using CloudWatch and CloudTrail
  • Conduct code reviews focused on maintainability, performance, and best practices
  • Write unit tests and integration tests; perform code remediation as needed
  • Contribute to architecture decisions and maintain technical documentation
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Create and manage CI/CD pipelines for cloud application deployments
  • Leverage AI coding assistants to accelerate code review, debugging, documentation generation, and test case development while critically evaluating AI-generated output
